flaps above
bowed heads
gaining the perfect order
greatness and responsive
seen through the fabric
of Christ-faith
the life-changing substance
A soul birthed in liberty
soaring with eagles
lands on cold ground
to feed, clawing the fertile ground
for the minerals of faith,
launching into the hereafter,
and stirring the rivers of God-time
in shades of unrecognized colors
